#SIMS 2 SKYGLOBE REMOVE FULL#
Also, there are so many incredible builds already out there that I could certainly not make better! So in order to have a full city you will need to place some lots. There are three parts to the city - the main island which is the heart of the city, the east island which is the industrial part of town, and the west island which is the greener side.ĭISCLAIMER: Due to the vast nature of this hood, I couldn’t create every lot needed to fill the city. SimCity has a lot of inspiration from real life cities such as New York. Thank you so much for your kindness, support, creativity, jokes, memes, and most importantly, your friendship! You’re all amazing and I’m so grateful for this community <3 Well, the time has come - the bustling streets of SimNation’s capital city await you!Īfter months of steady work, I’ve completed my biggest Sims creation to date! And now, on my 1st Simblr Anniversary, I’m finally ready to share it. But we’ve never been able to visit SimCity, let alone live in it. In newspapers, through chance cards, when our sims disappear to work, and more. Since the early days of The Sims franchise, we’ve heard about the mystical SimCity. Once a fabled fantasy, now a reachable reality!
Sims flock from far and wide to chase down the bright lights of SimCity.
Glabeglarn: The big, the bold, the beautiful. Hence, reposting it here for everyone to see. Only “honest simmers” should be allowed to see it.Īpparently, because I don’t use the emails he lists, then I’m not honest. It’s Boiling Oil that says they shouldn’t disclose information like this easily, and it will have to be discussed before moving the information to a place visible to guests not just users. It’s mentioned in the thread that not everyone will be able to see it. I have also downloaded the file and am basically signal boosting it, here.
#SIMS 2 SKYGLOBE REMOVE UPDATE#
Once there You should be able to find what path SimPe is pointing at and update them. You can find the path SimPe is pointing at by going to Extras, Then Preferences. They should be something like this Program Files\Origin Games\The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection\EP or SP name. But EA the changed the paths with the Ultimate Collection. After that SimPe should detect that the expansions are installed.īecause by default SimPe has them point at \Program Files\EA Games\EP or SP name. I would first back up the original file then place my edited file in the same directory.
#SIMS 2 SKYGLOBE REMOVE INSTALL#
To update SimPe’s file go to it’s install folder then to the Data folder, In the Data folder there should be a file called expansions.xreg. This file just strictly detects what games are installed nothing more. Probably not the best solution, But it seems to work so far.
I had to hack up the expansions.xreg file to fix the issue. But with The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection it only has one entry and that’s the one for the base game. In a normal install each game has it’s own registry entry. Which shows SimPe looks for certain registry entries for the expansion and stuff packs. If You go into the folder where SimPe is installed and then go into the Data folder, There should be a file called expansions.xreg.
It seems EA changed the registry entries for the expansions and stuff packs so now SimPe can’t find them.Įven if You imputed the correct install paths for the expansion and stuff packs they remained greyed out in SimPe. The base game is detected properly though. Just a word of warning if one uses SimPe with the Ultimate Collection that SimPe can not properly detect the expansion and stuff packs. The file is from Aaroneus, use at own risk?
